39 year old American actress Rebecca Romijn, who is probably best known for her portrayal of Mystique in the X-Men movie franchise, is set to appear in the forthcoming romantic comedy, Good Deeds. Rebecca has revealed how her character, in the Tyler Perry movie, has many similarities to herself and how she lives her life.
Romijn explained, “This is my life in this script. I relate to the character because she has worked her butt off for many years, and now she just wants to spend time with her kids. In one of the scenes, the kids are watching The Wizard of Oz, and that’s exactly what was happening in my house when I got the script: My girls were watching The Wizard of Oz over and over.”
As well as Rebecca Romijn, Good Deads also stars Thandie Newton, Gabrielle Union and Eddie Cibrian. Tyler Perry, who is the director of Good Deads, also penned the screenplay for the movie and stars as the male lead in the movie. Good Deads centres around a man who develops feelings for a single mother, right before he is due to get married. The movie is set to be released on February 24, 2012.

Rebecca Romijn wants to star in her own Wolverine style X-Men spin-off.
The Ugly Betty actress — who gave birth to twins earlier this year — says if she can drop all of her baby weight by 2010 she would love to reprise her role as Mystique for the fantasy hero franchise.
“If they talk to me in a year when I have worked off more of the baby weight, we’ll see, but I’ve still got a couple of pounds to go,” she says. “It’s a great idea but no one’s talked to me about it yet.”
Romijn — who is married to actor Jerry O’Connell — recently revealed that she lost weight by breastfeeding.
“Breastfeeding is the very best diet I’ve been on,” she said.
“It’s like you have to eat 5,000 extra calories a day or you can’t produce enough food for them. So, that’s been fun as well.
“I’m not pretending to be back to the shape I was in beforehand. I still have a way to go.”
